Welcome to our St. Andrew’s in Orillia website!
Feel free to browse through our site to see who we are and what we are about. This is an active congregation with plenty of opportunities for growth and sharing. Be sure to connect with us regularly and do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or ideas you may have.
Each week you will see changes in our website to the calendar of activities. Also, be sure to visit my blog regularly as I reflect (and maybe sometimes rant!) from a faith perspective. We look forward to providing highlights from our worship service along with the sermon each week. Of course, we have plenty of great concerts & programmes that you will not want to miss.
We offer diversity in worship. Picture the magnificence of our worship space with an abundance of dark and beautiful wood symbolizing our history and traditions but also a space with the most contemporary of screens and projectors for multimedia symbolizing our willingness to offer meaningful worship that changes with the times.
St. Andrews is involved beyond its four walls. Our church is situated in the heart of the downtown area of Orillia in the midst of plenty of activities within the community. We may be biased but we believe Orillia is the place where you will experience more sunshine than anywhere else in Canada. We do our part to offer Sonshine as well.!
God has great things in store for us as a congregation. It is an exciting time with the start of a new ministry. We will be initiating even more new programmes and missional efforts. We offer plenty of opportunities for all ages to grow in their faith and to explore how God is present in everyday life. We also anticipate adding many new ventures where we can be involved in the hopes and hurts of the people in our community and in the world.
We would love to have you join us in all our adventures of knowing and serving Christ.
Come and join us any Sunday or at any of our events and do not hesitate to contact me at karenhorst@rogers.com
May God’s love, peace and joy be with you today.
