St. Andrew’s provides ministry through prayer and worship.  We are there to provide encouragement and support to people who are struggling and for people seeking to find meaning in their lives.  One of the practical ways we are able to provide assistance is through the gifts of our time, our talents and our financial resources.  As you will see listed in the Mission and Outreach category, we provide regular support to the broader work of The Presbyterian Church in Canada.  Each year we submit funds along with other Presbyterian congregations and these resources are used to provide help in Canada and throughout the World. 

• Locally, we provide volunteer hours and financial assistance to many of the agencies and charitable organizations who are assisting those in need in our community.  We help with local food banks, hospital, second stage housing and seniors’ needs to name only a few examples.
• There are a variety of ways that you can financially assist us in our ministries:
• Regular or one time contributions to the church
• 1.  Many choose PreAuthorized Remittance as a steady way to help the church carry out its missional and congregational goals.
• 2.  Regular Envelopes:  Many people use a regular envelope to give weekly or monthly.
• 3.  Designated Gifts:  Many give generously to help a particular or designated cause within the congregation’s work.  A charitable receipt is always given for anyone requesting it.
