At St. Andrew’s we enjoy a diversity of worship experiences and music. We share communion several times a year. We carefully plan many meaningful services for special occasions throughout the year and often thematic services when appropriate. The congregation enjoys playful children’s stories and also dramatic readings. There is considerable openness to try new things and all ages are welcome to take part in our worship. Throughout the year we also offer evening services for Presbytery, for those who are grieving, Taize and prayer and more.

Studying the bible in a small group, of 6 -12 people, is a more intimate setting to develop a sense of community, build relationships, and to deepen our walk with God. Interested participants are asked to sign up at the Welcome Centre. For information regarding each group call the Church Office at 705-325-5183 EXT 1.
Seasonal Studies and Series
In addition to Bible Studies that run each week, we often offer 6 week studies each Winter and Fall. Often the series is thematic or about a particular book in the Bible. Recently, we ran a study on the Book of Job, for example. Other studies might be based on how to find meaning in life or how to handle crises or on what the Bible has to say about Family. If you watch our home page and our church calendar, the series is often advertised there.
St. Andrew’s is actively involved in the local community. We provide our Seniors' Centre, Social Service support, in house support of AA, NA & Al Anon, Friendship Ministry (special needs), encouragement of refugee sponsorship and support for Jubilee House (transitional housing project). As well, we are actively involved in on-going funding for the Lighthouse "Building Hope" Campaign. We provide assistance to local food banks. We also offer meals to people who are struggling and we have an active Prayer Shawl Ministry. Each Tuesday, the Prayer Group meet at 1 pm to offer prayers of praise, petition & thanksgiving to God.
Pastoral Visitation is provided by many volunteers to nursing homes and private homes for shut-ins and the bereaved.
