Mission and Outreach strive to provide outreach to our community, our country and globally, through local charitable assistance, Presbyterians Sharing and Presbyterian World Service & Development.  We attempt to inform and educate and involve the congregation in this important aspect of our church life.

Some of our activities include:

• support to an apartment in Jubilee Couchiching House where vulnerable women and their families are housed;
• a weekly collection of food taken to the Salvation Army;
• toiletries and financial assistance to the Lighthouse (a men’s shelter and soup kitchen) located in Orillia;
• a Lenten project with the Church School children, which assists international ministries to provide livestock, farm equipment, or a bike for a Minister;
• mitts, toques, gloves, scarves were sent to needy men at Evangel Hall in Toronto;
• a mission weekend with special guest speakers, where the congregation was informed of work done around the world by Presbyterian Missions, and we tasted some of the foods from each region;
• an apple give away at Thanksgiving in parts of  Orillia to “ share the bounty of the harvest”;
• participation at the annual Faith Fair in the Orillia Square Mall.
