The Net
The Net represents the Youth and Family Ministries of Orillia Presbyterian Church at St. Andrew’s.

Sunday School
We have classes every Sunday during the 10:30 a.m. service for students between kindergarten and grade twelve. Students are grouped according to similar grade and are taught Biblical truths through age appropriate, interactive lessons. Each class has two adults with them at all times to ensure a safe and controlled classroom. A nursery for babies and little ones up to four years of age is also provided during the 10:30 service and always staffed by two responsible adults.
 

FUSION FRIDAYS
Fusion Friday’s is a casual, fun and interactive time for students in grades 4 – 8, with guests always welcome. The group meets on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month from 7 – 9 pm. Meetings are held at ‘The Loft’ in ‘The Youth Centre’ where kids can hang out with their friends and other kids their age. During the evening they will have fun playing pool, ping-pong, air hockey, darts, foosball, Wii, and Xbox in “THE LOFT” as well as getting involved in a group building activity. To round out the Fusion experience the evening finishes with food and a discussion on relevant topics viewed through a Biblical perspective.
 

FAMILY UNITY NETWORK (FUN)
FUN is just the beginning of our family outings or activities. Our focus is on “families” including the two parent kind with 2.4 kids, the courageous single parents with any number of kids, and single adults in the same age range as the parents but without the problem…oops, I mean joy of children. Our activities vary in price and interest level, but with the main focus being on building friendship, growing closer, and fostering a sense of community. You can look forward to events such as snow tubing, dinners, bowling, mini-golf, theatre, hikes and tons of great activities. PA DAY
This is a Christian program for elementary school aged children. Parents bring their children to the church, with their lunch, just as they would do on a school day. We provide 2 snacks. The children enjoy a day of games, crafts, singing, watching Christian videos, and Bible teaching. Each day has a theme. Space is limited to 25 children so it is important to register early. This program is led by Joy Corbett. To register, contact the church office at 705-325-5183 and speak with our Secretary Denise.
